Statistics for the y-intercept Twitter Account
I started my twitter acount back in 2007. I disliked the divisiveness and manipulative nature of the platform. Even worse, Twitter silenced accounts for political reasons. So, I quit using the account back in 2016. As I recall I had just under 20K followers.
While I am not a fan of Elon Musk, I considered reviving the account after his hostile takeover as Musk promised to reduce political censorship. I cleaned up my account and was sad to see that most of my followers had disappeared.
It is now February 2023. I am intrigued by the revenue sharing program of twitter. The revenue share program demands that users receive 5 million impressions a month. Even worse the Revenue Sharing is a "Pay to Play" scam. One must pay to get paid.
Regardless I decided to start tweeting again to see if I could qualify for revenue share.
This page will track my attempt to relaunch Twitter. My immediate goals are to grow my following base over 10K. I want my following count to rise above my follwer count. I also want my 28 day impression count to rise well above 5 million So, here are the stats:

Pundits say that accounts should focus on a niche. I am interested in the state of discourse in our society. I am thinking of concentrating on some general themes:

I've considered publishing a book with the title The Sides of the Coin. This work argues that the ideologies called "conservatism" and "progressivism" came from the same souce. Advocates of the monarchy created the left/right split to divide the people and reassert their control. Both progressivism and conservatism lead to economic and political centralization.
The goal of the Two Sides of the Coin is to show that the left and right are made of the same mettle. The things that Democrats hate most about Republicans are true of progressivism. The things that the loud right hate about the Democrats are true of Conservatism.
The two sides of the coin will get both the left and right upset.
The Giant Atheist Making Machine
A large number of political ideas orginated with radical interpretations of the Bible. The Giant Atheist Making Machine will explore the interplay of radical religion and radical anti-religion. Few people are willing to discuss the origins of their religious beliefs. I fear that this collection of tweets will get me banned.
Health Care Reform
I worked writing computer programs for a state run insurance company. I realized that the formulas used for analyzing insurance premiums are inherently flawed. We could create a better health care system. Unfortunately, since people these days are married to political parties, it is impossible to talk about this or other important issues.
Monetary Reform
Just as I have a long standing interest in health care reform, I am interested in monetary reform. If there was a group of people brave enough to discuss both monetary and health care reform, that group of people could have a sizeable impact on our society.
Unfortunately, before one can talk about economic reforms, one has to discuss the political impasse that prevents economic reform. I have to talk about politics first.
I think tha the GOP is the best forum for reform. Unfortunately, the GOP is controlled by Conseratives.
The ideology called "conservatism" was created by the Tories in the 1830s. Conservativism is an ideology that seeks to conserve the established over the innovative. Conservatism is a partisan ideology in which powerful moneyed interests control the debate by hiring loud-mouthed pundits to obstruct the conversation. Conservatives make a great deal of noise, but never accomplish anything.
Sadly, most members of the GOP are two focussed on the drama of the conflict to see that their political leaders are the source of the problems that Conservatives rant against.
We could solve many of our problems with monetary reform. I've been blogging on SteemIT and HIVE for the last few years.

Tweeting About Twitter
The medium is the message. I am not a fan of social media. I believe that social media amplifies political division. It is almost impossible to discuss important issues on social media.
Since I am dropping microposts on Twitter, you can bet your bottom dollar that I will drop tweets about social media . This brings us back to the subject of this article. Since I am trying to build my stats, I will tweet about my experience relauncing my account and I will routinely examine my stats in my ill fated attempt to get 5 million impressions a month.
