Questioning Motivations

One of the most damaging propaganda techniques used by the left is to question the motivations of one's opponents.

In most cases, the force that caused a person to stand up and speak is not in sync with what the speaker says. For example, a lawyer representing a client in court might say all sorts of things on his client's behalf simply because it is the job of a lawyer to represent a client.

It is easy to question the questions of capitalists because they are, by definition, horrible people who are just out for a buck.

The technique really is nothing more than a means of projection as the activist who employees projection generally has motivations just like the capitalist. Those motivated by a desire for power are not purer than those motivated by aspirations to wealth.
